The Czech mezzo-soprano Ester Pavlů was born into a big-bit musical family. Contrary to her parents' expectations, she did not become a rocker, her musical needle directed her to the opera. She graduated from the HAMU Academy of Performing Arts in Prague with Helena Kaupová. She then improved her skills in masterclass courses led by Aprile Millo, Peter Dvorský, Eva Randová, Bojidar Nikolov, Gabriela Beňačková and José Cura. She is currently led by Slovak baritone Vlad Chmel. she also received the Ben Blachut Award with an invitation to the International Music Festival in Gstaad, Switzerland
